About this Role

While experience working as a Teaching Assistant and across both Key Stages would be advantageous, we are equally keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the personal qualities, aptitude and transferable skills needed to succeed in the role.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a professional approach to all aspects of school life

  • A warm, nurturing, and approachable manner that helps children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn

  • A positive attitude and strong team spirit

  • Experience (or a willingness to train) in supporting children with behavioural, social, emotional, or mental health needs

The role also includes daily lunchtime supervision.

In return, we offer:

  • A supportive, experienced, and friendly team committed to putting children’s wellbeing and learning at the heart of everything we do

  • High-quality training and development through the Bridge Schools Trust

  • A well-regarded school in a vibrant community setting—with spectacular sea views!

  • A strong focus on community engagement and partnership, which you will be encouraged to actively contribute to

If you’re passionate about supporting children to thrive and want to be part of a positive, forward-thinking school community, we’d love to hear from you.
