About the job
Welcome to The Cooper School, where we work within the local community to prepare and motivate all of our students to develop their full potential as individuals and as members of society.
Our students, and their parents and carers, have very high expectations for learning - they know that good educational outcomes can make an important difference to their lives. Our students also want to learn in surroundings which are safe, happy and supportive. They need an environment which helps them be the best version of themselves, wherever they start, and wherever they’re going.
Every decision we make, and every idea we implement, is designed to improve our students’ opportunities and outcomes - both in learning new skills, and in developing as people.
We are now seeking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher to join our team from January 2027.

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports students in reaching their potential.
- Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and student engagement.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community.
