About the job

This is an Associate Leadership teaching position, with the successful candidate providing a prominent advisory and leadership role as part of the wider SLT, in addition to teaching, management of staff, data and budgets.

We are looking for a passionate and driven leader to continue to develop our SEND provision. You will share our commitment to providing an inspiring and equitable education for every one of our students and have the ability to lead and support your team.

Saltash Community School is a co-educational 11-18 school of over 1200 students including a successful sixth form and incorporating an Area Resource Base; a specialised environment for children with severe and complex learning needs. Here at Saltash we are determined to improve the life chances of every single student on roll, developing happy and healthy citizens who make a positive contribution to our local community and to wider society. Your role as a SENDCo in that is hugely important on that journey.
