About the job

Inclusion Base Teacher - Bodmin College

Fixed Term until 31 August 2027 | M1-M6 plus SEND Allowance

The Inclusion Base Teacher will provide high-quality teaching and specialist support for learners within Greenfield, the Area Resource Base (ARB) at Bodmin College, ensuring that provision is ambitious, inclusive and carefully matched to individual needs. They will plan and deliver well-sequenced learning that enables learners to make strong progress from their starting points, while developing confidence, independence, communication, emotional regulation and positive attitudes towards learning.

The postholder will ensure that learning is accessible without lowering expectations, using adaptive teaching, structured routines, specialist strategies and effective assessment to remove barriers and support success.

While the role will be primarily based within Greenfield, there may also be opportunities to contribute to teaching and learning across the wider school, including classroom cover as directed. A Science specialism would be particularly welcomed, although applications from teachers with other subject specialisms who demonstrate strong inclusive practice are equally encouraged.
