About the job

We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Deputy Headteacher: Behaviour & Pastoral. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and driving a positive, inclusive and ambitious culture where every student feels safe, supported and able to thrive. You will provide strategic leadership for behaviour, attendance, personal development and pastoral inclusion, ensuring high standards of conduct, engagement and belonging across the school.

Working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, you will lead whole-school improvement initiatives, develop and embed effective behaviour systems, oversee pastoral and reintegration processes, and champion student wellbeing. You will also manage and support key pastoral leaders, build strong relationships with families and external agencies, and deputise for the Headteacher when required. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a significant impact on students' lives and contribute to the continued success of the school.
