Pupil Protect is the safeguarding record designed around DSLs. Pastoral staff log concerns, follow actions and see a child’s whole picture in one place.

About the job

We are seeking an organised and proactive Attendance Officer to support the delivery of our attendance strategy. You will monitor attendance and punctuality, identify concerns early, and work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to improve attendance outcomes. The role is vital in reducing persistent absence, supporting pupil welfare and ensuring compliance with statutory attendance requirements.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a compassionate and resilient individual with strong communication and organisational skills. You will be confident working with families, analysing attendance data and implementing effective interventions to improve attendance. A good understanding of safeguarding, attention to detail and a commitment to supporting young people to achieve their full potential are essential. Experience within a school, attendance, pastoral or welfare setting would be advantageous.
