Pupil Protect vs Student Radar

Student Radar is a pupil support system that covers safeguarding alongside SEND, attendance, behaviour and health. Pupil Protect covers the same ground, all on one chronology.

When Student Radar may suit you better

No system is right for every school. These are fair reasons to choose Student Radar.

  • You want one per-pupil price that covers every module.
  • You're a small school and want a low minimum price.

Moving from Student Radar

We bring your records across and your DSL checks them before anything goes live.

How switching works

Can we get our records out of Student Radar?

Its data processing agreement says live data is returned or deleted within 30 days of the contract ending, so ask for your export before then. [Confirm which Student Radar export formats we import]

We use Student Radar for SEND too. Do we lose that?

No. Pupil Protect covers SEND, behaviour, attendance and health too, so those records can come across with your safeguarding records. [Confirm what SEND, behaviour and health records we import]
